I bought this book for the line

here I am dying at an average pace

And the entire book is full of these beautiful, haunting metaphors and realizations.

Simple and a little too much of Fields' personal stories, but a nice reminder of what is necessary to bring in to the room.

I loved seeing all the photos, but Krenz took every opportunity she could to mention affairs and other sordid details which made the whole book feel kind of skeezy.

Well this was spectacular . . . ly boring.

I came in expecting QUEER ROMANCE TIME TRAVEL ADVENTURE

And got TWO INDISTINGUISHABLE WOMEN FALL IN LOVE OVER LETTERS WHILE FIGHTING A WAR THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE IN A WORLD THAT IS HELD TOGETHER BY PLOT HOLES AND A STORY THAT IS CLEVER PHRASES WITH NO SUBSTANCE
