The poems are cute if repetitive, but the art is terrifying/awful.
D is for Demon. I don't think this book really needs any other explanation. I don't know that I would classify whales as monsters, myself, but this is definitely a very unique alphabet book.
I read this from NetGalley on my kindle so I didn't get to appreciate the colors, but I loved it anyway.
It is a very cute and informative book that makes spiders adorable. (I am typing this and hearing my sister's voice in my head insisting that spiders are always adorable.) It is factual and cleanly written, and despite being part of a series called Disgusting Critters, it is alarmingly charming.

As much as I dislike Luce and Daniel (CAM FOREVER) Kate really does do a great job of showing you what made Luce love him throughout four books that span time and space and religion in a truly epic way. This book really upped the danger and excitement and took the story out of the realm of a teen love story into a tangled and often heartbreaking story. This book wraps up the story very well without being too sweet or perfect.

RIP GABBE. I love that God is female. And that Luce was an angel. CALLED IT.
Bible verses about animals interspersed with black and white drawings. I would recommend it to someone looking to share Christian stories, but for general interest it is kind of boring.
