“What happened that day was man-made—which means that as human beings, we have the capacity to do something about it.”
Wow. Just wow. Thank you for sharing THE truth with us David and Lauren. This book has been added to the list of books I think everyone NEEDS to read. It was so raw and reflective and truly changed me. We have to take a stand. The amount of shootings that happen every year is absolutely disgraceful. As I was reading through all the names at the end I started sobbing when it truly clicked and I realized, I’m reading a list of people that died because of an injustice, one that CAN be fixed. Let’s fix this. #neveragain

I mean I didn’t hate it but I didn’t really like it. I had to read it for independent reading for school so I’m sure that didn’t help its case, but I HATED the swapping of people. I get that they were all tied together in some way but the chapters were too long and it got too distant at points that it felt not important to the plot at all. Just a meh book

This book is not my favorite by her, that will forever be salt to the sea, but such a great read! Ruta is my favorite author and her books neverrr disappoint. I did indeed cry, like always, and this book being told from only one pov is different than her others, though I gotta say I like multiple perspectives more. Never stop writing!

I love Lynn, she’s always there for me when I need a cute romance! This one didn’t disappoint, though I feel like the “her falling asleep with E’s jacket on” stoping the time loop didn’t make much sense, but that could just be me

I liked this book but the ending wasn’t as much as I needed for a book called “they both die at the end.” I was thinking they would die together, yk? I definitely cried a lot throughout the book 😭

This book was so cute!! Easy read and one that kept me hooked. I also got the guy I’m interested in to read the book too so that’s a bonus! (He’s not done with it yet but he’s making substantial progress 😋)
