I really enjoyed the structure of this book. Part letter, poem, story, fantasy. It reads so well and lightly considering the depth of the subject.
Someone told me that the author wrote the book because she would would have liked it to have existed when she was younger and I can see how lovely that would have been - and how this book now exists for anyone else who has the same feelings.
(I write this review as a cis woman and am fully aware that I'm not the target audience/reviewer)
