This is such a lovely end to a gorgeous series! This book starts up immediately after the end of the last book.
In this book, we gain a much deeper understanding of the fairy realm. It feels like a gentler book than the first two and whilst it sums up the series nicely, could we ever not want to remain in this world?
Something I love is that Wendell's personality doesn't change to fit the 'MMC Fae romance' role. He remains utterly and imperfectly himself.

A fun idea but most of the comic strips fell flat for me. I thought maybe it was that I'd read most of the books mentioned, but it didn't seem to be any different with those where I hadn't. They just seemed to be lacking a little something but when you're limiting yourself to often no more than a short sentence, it must be hard to summarise everything so consisely and make it into a comic.
When I started this, I thought the world building was great. It seemed like it could be something fresh and I was looking forward to reading it.
Then, I stopped reading it for a week and... I just wasn't feeling it anymore? The fantasy names introduced were too much to remember and the characters never seemed to develop further than they had in those first few pages.
I've seen several reviewers saying that it gets good at the 50-70% mark but I didn't get there. Maybe I'll try to finish it at some point but not anytime soon.
So, it's a DNF for me right now. It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible.

A very basic introduction guide to witchcraft aimed at beginners.
The book begins with simple two pages spreads introducing the ideas of things are like 'balms'. This was done in a way that sometimes felt they were trying to fill space as some of the things felt they were obvious, even for a beginner. But maybe not.
The formatting made it very difficult to read as an ebook so maybe that's why I didn't gel with it properly.
Its definitely an aesthetically pleasing book that I can see being popular in a millennial/gen z baby witch crowd but not something that I can see myself revisiting.

"I think we're just figuring or how to survive a world on fire. That it's okay to be alive."
This is an utterly messy love story. I don't know how else to describe it other than that - it's just so messy.
I wasn't sure if this was for me at the beginning of it. I've massively gone off romances recently after a few that were just too samey but I enjoyed this more than I thought I was going to. I felt for Feyi and wanted her to be happy. I loved the idea behind her art installation too. That's something I wish I could really see.
But yeah, was any of it done in the right order? No. Could various people's feelings have trampled on less? 100%. But in a way, that made it feel more real. And the bi representation? Big yes.
But in the words of Feyi,
"It just- it seems too much like, there's messy but this is some next level shit"
