What an absolutely gorgeous book! Rarely do I find a book on which I root for the characters as much as I did in this. I loved it from start to finish!

Supposedly a book about ikigai, once I started reading it sold itself as a book about the longest living people and their secrets. Yet this was maybe a couple of pages total? It reads like a jumbled mess of ideas taken from other authors and is rather boring if I'm honest. I had to force myself through the second half.
