If you have rage at a religious oligarchy like I do. Read this book! An eerily accurate metaphor for our current political situation. Full of feminine rage. I’m excited to see what Wang writes next!

The spicy scenes in this book are 🥵🔥 and VERY explicit and detailed. If you’re a gay guy or just someone who loves mlm, this book has GOT it. The whole pack dynamic adds a level of voyeurism/kink to this story that’s fun and spicy.
That being said, I was fairly disappointed with the prose. I found the writing to be repetitive and uninspiring. I felt like I was beat over the head with gordo’s abandonment issues and the concept of ‘packpackpack.’ The characters also felt under developed.
And I’m saying this as someone who loves TJ Klune as an author, he’s written such wonderful books. Under the Whispering Door is one of my favorites. I just overall don’t love the Green Creek series.
