This was really strong! Super interesting premise, love the way the mystery unfolded and I really liked all the characters. What was said here about race and identity was very well done as well. And I loved the casual tie in to the Egyptian Gods- I personally think it was left just open enough to not be grating. Really good overall. I will say the subplot with Chris was not handled super well towards the end, wish we had gotten a definitive answer on that. Love the ending too!

Wow! This was pointless! Literally tells us nothing about anything! Why was this written?

This starts slow but man is it fun! Really love Sandstorm here, glad her and Firestar were given more development- can't believe he's a girldad canonically! Loved SkyClan's journey here, felt very natural and real. Really hope we get to see them again, i'm gonna miss Cherrytail and Leafstar!

Welp! This was ass! Just boring and bland overall, nothing really said outside of the same points about aging, marriage and family. And not a single story was genuinely frightening, more frustrating than anything. The titular story was easily the best and even then it wasn't brilliant. Just bleh.

What a conclusion to the arc man- loved how everything tied together. Sad that it's already over. Bramblepaw you will always be loved.

THIS WAS SO GOOD OMG- Bluestar my beloved 💔. Loved Fireheart and Sandstorm, been waiting for them to confess. And Cloudtail and Lostface :( he is so loyal to her. Glad Greystripe is back with the gang.

Wayyyyyy too fast, should have been slowburn. Makes it so literally nothing happens in the seconf half of the book. 

Absolutely nothing good happened to anybody in this book my God. Fireheart was put through the ringer, as well as all of Thunderclan. Bluestar's arc is so fucking sad now that its come to full fruition- my girl deserves so much better. I am so proud of Cinderpelt and her arc, and I am absolutely devastated about Yellowfang- idk if another character is gonna charm me like she did. Surprised Dustpelt is being normal now, although I suspect that's because of his liking for Fernpaw. Cloudpaw had a great arc here too and I was so happy to see Ravenpaw again! I also love Fireheart and Sandstorm- can't believe the catbook has enemies to lovers in it LMFAO.

OH THIS WAS SO SAD???? Slight murder mystery elements and we're still building on everything that's come before. I am so sad about Greystripe, your friend needs you! But I thought his whole arc was beautifully done. Thank FUCK Tigerclaw is gone I hate his ass.

This was really beautiful, brilliant use of language and science together. Don't have much to say as I am in fact, intensely stupid and this book is above me in basically every way. Just stunning.
