Sanji's backstory had me tearing up! Loved the fight here and Gin's little arc.

I'm pleasantly surpised by how much I liked this! While slow, and a little clunky (especially in fight scenes) this was a fun journey through an interesting world with a great, complex magic system.

Thought Vin was an excellent main character and I loved her inner conflicts. Kell was great too.

Last 150ish pages got to me lmfao.

Syrup arc ends with a banger and Sanji is introduced- already love the new crew's dynamic and the beginning of the new arc.

The fight picks up! Everyone here is really funny and Nami gets a couple of really good moments. Usopp getting an apology was great as well and Kaya wasn't just a plot point but actually affected the plot.

A little backstory and a little world-building before the main event, needed this.

This really has started to pick up, loved the rest of the Buggy fight, loving the crew so far and Usopp is a great, layed character. Plot's good too and this was decently funny.

This was told very beautifully, I loved how subtle everything was and how so much is implied- I also like it because it's set in Scotland and i'm Scottish lmfao (what can I say base things like that reach out to me.) Thought Isserley was a fantastic, complex main character and the themes explored here (sexism, consumption and class) were done very well.

This is one of the most devastating and beautiful books i've ever read. The prose is so stunning and i'm so moved by the juxtaposition between a safe childhood and the death and destruction caused by the War.

I loved every character here and Death had such a strong voice. I'm also very dehydrated after this, the last 50ish pages just wrung me out.
