This book takes AGESSSS to start, but when it goes? IT GOES. Love Valkyrie here as always, hate Caelan, stay away from that 16yr old??? The intrigue with Darquess is so good but because you know that Val sealing her name won't solve anything it makes the book at the start so slow. I'm gen so upset about Tanith Derek Landy you're cooked. But the parallel between that happening and Lord Vile coming back? Muah. Tesseract at the end was so sad? Dialogue was so good esp at the end.

David Walliams sixth novel, "Demon Dentist" is a fun, campy horror romp! Loved Alfie and his father, it's nice to see a disabled character not be demonised for their disability while also highlighting the challenges that can come from not having enough support. Winnie is a lot of fun too and i'm so happy her, Alfie and Raj get to have their happy ending. Gabz was the best here and again i'm very pleased her and Alfie get to ve happy together. Mrs Root and Fang were so camp and silly I love it. My problem again lies with the fatphobia in this novel, it's so reptitive especially when it comes to Winnie. I'll also highlight that I believe this is the first novel to have more than one character of colour and both are written pretty well.
I'd also like to mention that this is the first book with a more structured plot, instead of one large event and it's ramifications across the story.

I can't believe I liked a romance with a pregnancy in it. Willa was absolutely fucking fantastic and I genuinely liked Cade quite a bit, that's how you do a grumpy character. Luke absolutely carries this book seriously if he was annoying this would be 1 star. Summer and Rhett also cracked me up so bad and I can't wait for Winter's book.

David Walliams fifth book, Ratburger is surprisingly enjoyable, at least for me. It may have to do with the fact that I have a huge affection for rats and i'm happy to see them get some love. Zoe is a great protag I find, her dad's little arc is pretty decent too. Shelia and Burt are gross and work well as villains. I also really like Tina's arc, i'm glad Zoe doesn't forgive her until she gets an apology and recognises the cycle of abuse going on in her home and acknowledges that it doesn't justify her bullying, that's a good message for kids. Also seeing poor kids be shown as kind and worthy strikes a personal note with me.

David Walliams fourth novel, this is fine! Well paced and a decent enough message, this one isn't as offensive as it could have been, cannot stand the stuff about the Royal Family however, knowing the history behind the Crown Jewels really makes some of the jokes and plot bitter beyond. Ben is fun as a protagonist and his parents annoy me endlessly, I don't care about their heel turn at the end. His gran was a fun character- I don't like how every character (including Raj) tells the protagonist to just forgive their parents however. Raj was good as always, kinda starting the whole plot.

David Walliams third book, "Billionaire Boy" is easily his worst by far, his main character Joe being bland, his friendship with Bob didn't have me feeling anything in particular and the constant fatphobia and weird shit in regards to gender did nothing for me. Half a star for a funny Piers Morgan joke however.

BEST BOOK SO FAR ARE YOU KIDDING? Perfect plot, builds so well on everything done so far, HORRIFIC??? In some places, the worldbuilding is so good and I'm adoring every character so far- the dialogue here was fucking unbelievable too and the plot twists and revelations?????? Woah.

This was real sweet! Love Summer and I can't wait for Winter's book (haha rwby reference). Liked the Eaton family enough and I enjoyed Rhett and Summer's romance. Tell me why I gasped at the Rob revelation??? Didn't love how sudden the romance started however.

Not as good as the first imo, a little disjointed in places and slow to start but still so fun. Loved the plot, Dusk and Springheeled Jack were entertaining, i'm weirdly in love with Sanguine (seriously that guy is so hot) and Tanith? Need her I fear. Valkyrie and Skulduggery were their fun selves, loving Valkyrie's arc and her badass fight at the end.
