Although this was a peek into the past, I was hoping it would have a lot more connection to the people in the trilogy, but as it turns out, nope.

These are safe to give to your 9-13 year old for light back seat reading while on long trips.

not feeling these. just not feeling them. seems like someone at some point did, though, so there’s that.

In some future, I may view the film version of this series. Pending improvement to the story and the additional element of audio-visual creativity.

If I was a 13 year old boy, I might find these entertaining…? But then, shouldn’t I still think it’s good writing if I’m 17? 27? 43? (etcetera, and just never you mind)

The good thing with these kinds of novels is that boys are reading again. Maybe.
