There were bits I’d have written differently, and they weren’t so off as for me to dislike the direction the story has taken, but they were enough for me to shrug in a bit of slight disappointment. 

I don’t want to say what they were, but just will say that I’d have made possibly very opposite choices about time and timelines and about my own body, if I was Malory.

Still, very interesting story.

I love the mess this scenario presented—and even more so love the way TJR writes a beautiful way out of it, highlighting the tenderness of humanity and the unbreakable bonds of the many kinds of love we experience throughout our lives. 

Well. I like that this is odd. Peculiar. Just plain weird.

All the other fantasy stuff you get is predictable, but this has a bit of the unhinged Frank Kafkaesqueness to it, and that was an awkward and uncomfortable trip.
