The book was hilarious. Marshall is so very much centered

in reality that he doesn’t realize that Felix is a vampire. For. So. Long! Too long. But he gets there and it all works out in the end

. The MCs and even some of the minor characters were lovable. Overall? This was such a fun read!

I feel even more justified that the errors had brought my rating so low on this one. It was plagiarized. Check the links for the post and original work in the reviews. 

I wanted to like this one more than I did. I know I still gave it 4 stars, but that’s because I can’t do anything in between. This is the first book in the series where I don’t like the nanny as much as the other MC. Morris has so many feelings, they both do, but I adored him so much. Penn on the other hand I had a hard time loving. I found myself setting this down more than I have the other two in the series. Overall, it wasn’t bad, just not my favorite of the three I’ve read for this series. 

I could not love Riley, Giles, and Milo more! It’s a slower burn than I expected, but I still greatly enjoyed. Childhood enemies to strangers to still enemies but now employee/employer to friends to lovers. There were some emotional moments here for me, and I didn’t expect to give so much shit about Pluto no longer being a planet. 

I didn’t expect a lot of what went down in this, and there’s a little bit of terms used that could have cut back from being repeated so much. Or just used something else. However, that is so fucking minor. This was cozy, entertaining, and pretty steamy.

I have many thoughts about this, and few are good. I struggled, but could see what the author was trying to do with this plot. It has a lot of potential! I just wish that potential was met here. 

Well. That’s an ending. I’ll have to come back to this series at a later date as I didn’t realize it would not be some sort of HEA for the first book at least.
