I really enjoyed this one. If there’s one thing Leigh Bardugo knows how to do, it’s set the mood! The vibes👌🏾Somewhat similar to Shadow & Bone in some aspects…
I appreciate all of the historical context to make this story a true gem. Very fun at times. A little sad…but overall a good rainy/gloomy day read.

I’ll need to think about my rating a little longer, but I’m leaning towards 4.5/5? 5/5?
My only complaint was it felt a little long.
(Idek how many pages)
But with that being said, I appreciate a fully fleshed out book 2, unlike some other book 2s in a trilogy I’ve read recently 👀🙃
The story is phenomenal, and I’m so happy there were so many layers to it for you to really understand where the characters come from, and how we get to see them grow & evolve.

The love.
The action.
The acting!

Definitely check out the audiobook.
Shane East who also voiced Elias from An Ember in the ashes

Aure Nash 😍
Give them all the awards.
I believe book 3 just came out, and I’m going to try my hardest to squeeze it in before October 😅
Shanora is another cliffhanger Queen, so fun🙃🙃🙃
