Such a fun book! I can’t wait to read the other two in the series. If your kids or you like magic. I highly recommend! NPH is an absolute star. We already knew this, but reading the book & listening to his voice on audio was everything and more.

I know some of y’all hate me for giving so many books five stars, but the truth is I genuinely love them all. I believe I pick really good books that resonate with myself, and life. Things that I’m all too familiar with, and so it’s very helpful to read from other people’s perspective.

I found myself holding my breath a few times. It shook me to my core. The writing was impeccable. I appreciate the real ness in the story, and the fact that she had no excuses. AlI I have left to say is this was such a heartbreaking, and relevant book. So worth it. Life is hard. We find a way, but it is hard. Praying for all of us.

A great book for young readers! I can’t to read more of Sophie’s journey, and she has a lot of them :)

What an extremely insightful work of art. Angela provides great information into “Women, Race, & Class”. Lol...I appreciate reading history from a women’s point of view.

I’m very grateful to Michelle Obama for sharing her story. There is so much we all have in common, yet so little. I love hearing different perspectives from black women especially... mainly because we are all not alike, and think differently contrary to what some might think. Forever my First Lady. I recommend...

What a brilliant writer. I can see why He is more than half of everyone I knows favorite Author. The poetry I’m his words alone, inspire me greatly. I only hope that someday my words will carry such passion. Thank you Mr JB.
