I love poetry. I love opinions. I love raw, and unapologetic writing. This book was amazing. I can’t wait to read it again.

It was inspirational. No matter what you thought. Whether it was the repetitiveness of some stories. Or even how depressed you thought this book was. This woman is brave, and I am so grateful for her and the millions of other women who tell their stories everyday.Let this book teach you a lesson. Let this book give you hope, and let this book show you no fear.

If I’m being honest, I don’t even know what to write. This book was truly amazing...but it tore me up trying to get through it. I won’t say much but everyone should read this. You can get a glimpse of what life is like for someone else. It isn’t pretty, and it’ll make you really sad but at least you can begin to understand. As much hate has been thrown at my people. I think we turned out great✊🏾

I love you Assata.

A very heartbreaking story. Full of love and betrayal, with such a powerful ending.

Love love loved! I aspire to write such warm, and lovely poetry like this some day. Thank you my black sister. Please read.

What a beautiful beautiful story. Poem? Poems!
Everything written I shall share with my daughter(s), and theirs and so on. I’m truly inspired. Thank you Queen.
