While I did still enjoy this book a lot, it wasn’t quite as good as the first in the series. The quirkiness was definitely still there which I enjoyed, but the mystery aspect wasn’t as strong or believable in this one. Still excited to read book 3 though! 

I’m going to be so for real right now, I didn’t understand most of what was going on in this book haha I enjoyed part of it, but really struggled with others. If it wasn’t for the shock of the last chapter I honestly don’t think I’d continue on with the series.

Just couldn’t get into it unfortunately

I really enjoyed part of this book but other parts just didn’t hit as well as they should have. Overall not bad and enjoyable!

I listened to this one with Graphic Audio which for some aspects I think enhanced the book but in others it didn’t. For example- I had a really hard time following all of the war and military stuff going on sometimes. But other than that, I really enjoyed this one! Think I liked it better than Fourth Wing!
