Favorite book series of all time. I remember in 5th grade being asked what item I would want if I was stranded on an island. I chose this book series, of course.

So the first short story was the absolute worst, but thankfully it got better! There were some other stories in there that were also poorly written, or super AU (really, Mulder is married to a girl named SAMANDA?!), but then there's some classic X-Files cases in there.

Well yeah it's gonna have a much lighter version of slavery that what is historically accurate because it's a children's book. You think they should start teaching the gruesome details to American children in 2nd and 3rd grade (which I believe is the age group for this book)?
