I really liked this. The pace was a little slow towards the end. Like ok girl we get it. But other than maybe editing our 10-15 pages by condensing one part of the story, I thought it was great.

I really like this book for personal reasons, I had a similar story (the author wasn’t famous, but there was power dynamics and money at play) and it made me feel so seen but also so angry.

Wow! I thought communion was good, this was even better. This book is worth all the hype. This is paradigm shifting if you let it be.
dark emotional sad fast-paced

This book was a super easy read (or listen). The content was heartbreaking but I still thought it was rather light in details. The sentences were simple and I missed a lot of the details and insights I look forward to in memoirs. If I hadn’t grown up with Britney and been intrigued by her story I would have put this down and abandoned it 25% through.

The book was a bit elementary in its writing. I found it difficult to get through when I initially purchased it in 2016 and didn’t pick it up again for 2 years. However, once you get past it you see the true heart and soul of the author. The details and transparency are vivid and I feel a new appreciation for how a certain group of people live every day.

Great book, if you know anything about his music or story, this only adds to it.
