That ending has me confused. Feels incomplete. It’s like the book set up all these characters, some more than others and then within 50 pages, made them all smash together. How do you have all these people’s stories come together and kill them on 1 page. Just seems to short and convenient.

Wow. Where to begin? I feel like I’m a distant friend now. She covered so much, so eloquently. I just want to read my life through her lens. I have even more respect for the president and their family and how they navigate life in the White House.

Easily my favorite book of the year. I’ve always been a fan of hip hop music. However, I only peripherally knew of Gucci and his music prior to his release.

I decided to give the book a try based on reviews, my love of autobiographies/memoirs, and Hip Hop music. Best decision I made. It’s incredibly written, the details, the story flows the imagery. You can tell someone shaped it but I believe for the better.

Everyone should read this book.

This was ok. The stories were all over the place and the thoughts jumped back and forth. I found myself questioning if I missed chapters because she would mention stuff with no back story.

The only good thing about it was it was short and quick.

If I could give this book 6/5 stars I would. Powerful is an understatement. I felt joy, pain, fear,sadness, I laughed and my stomach lurched and ached more times than I can count.

I loved the audiobook so much I simultaneously read the book so I could let the words soak into my bones. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
