It seemed like a pretty helpful book, but my baby isn't due for another 4 weeks so I haven't actually gotten to put any of the information into practice yet to see how it works. This book was recommended to me by a couple other mothers, so I'm assuming there's some merit to it. I like the idea of easy to use soothing techniques that are natural and easy to wean off eventually. Here's to hoping I can do it! :)

I liked the plot and enjoyed the storyline. Well, it was pretty disturbing and scary to think about cults played out in real life but it was an engaging story and a good page-turner. I'm not sure if I will read any more of his books though as it had quite a bit of swearing that I'd rather do without. Disappointing because other than some of the language I think I would enjoy his other books.

Very well written. I loved his imagery and language throughout the book. I wish I would have taken more time to just absorb the words and pull out the meanings. There is so much there, but right now I'm not in a place to mentally contemplate what I'm reading for as long as this book could really ask of you. Will definitely read more of his books!
