I flew through this book. I loved how the story progressed. Something that I really like about this series is the relationships and how they are portrayed. Whether it be familial, romantic, or friendship, there's a realness and a familiarity about it. I also really like that while there is an overarching plot, there are all these little hardships and problems individual characters must deal with. ANYWAYS I can't wait to read the final book soon!

3.5 Stars. I still really liked the story, but it seemed to drag on a bit for me in the middle. I appreciated the strong will of the characters, but also their growth and self discovery. The ending had a few twists that I personally wasn't expecting, but appreciated for sure. While this wasn't my favorite Ryan Graudin book, I still like her writing a lot, and I will continue to read anything she puts out.

4.5 stars. When I first read the synopsis of this book nothing really stuck out to me as special, but oh boy was I wrong. This book was so witty, funny, fast-paced, and full of adventure. I found the characters to be so relatable, and they were incredibly engaging, always keeping the story interesting and exciting.
