This book was all that I wanted and more. Loved it. Anybody interested in the American Civil War should read this book.
Absolutely fantastic book. I would recommend this to anyone. Amy Poehler is hilarious and real and fantastically relatable. I enjoyed this book from page one all the way to the end.
Watched the movie first and was so intrigued that I had to read the book. Really great book and deals with some very interesting problems/elements. Loved both the book and the movie.
Oh my freaking goodness! I never really like novellas of secondary characters BUT this was amazing. I liked Dawson and Bethany in the original series, but this made me love them even more. You really got to see their personalities that you don't get a whole lot of in the Lux series. There were also sections of this book in Daemon's point of view which was actually super helpful because I really got to understand more about why what Dawson and Bethany was, was such a big deal. You also get to see a lot of triplet interaction which was sooo great. I loved it and I am so glad I read this. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the Lux series.
Wow. This was definitely my favorite book of the series so far. Arista was brilliant. Royce and Hadrian were great as always. I loved the relationship between all three of them. The new character, Amilia, was fantastic. She developed from a small, frightened girl to a strong and determined young lady. Thrace/Modina played an interesting role in this sequel, I'm curious to see where Michael J. Sullivan takes it. Ugh, I enjoyed this immensely. I was going to wait a little before continuing on with the series, but it kind of ended on a bit of a cliff hanger and I don't know if I can wait!
This one was a little bit slower to me for some reason. Still really enjoyable though, and I'm already going to start the next one. I gotta know what's going to happen!
