This romantic suspense was the conclusion to Xavier and Victoria's duet and it was HOT!!! I did not want to put this one down. It was an awesome blend of sports (soccer/football) romance and suspense. I loved seeing both the FMC and MMC's growth throughout the book and their chemistry was off the charts. Can't wait to see more of this universe from Lynn as the series continues!

ARC Review

I read book one and two back-to-back so I was grateful that I didn't have to wait too long for the story to pick back up again. Phoenix Caged picked right up where book one ended off and we got to follow our FMC as she was kidnapped and journeyed through unknown lands. The book seemed to start off pretty slow but really picked up once it hit its stride. I found Moira very naive and a little annoying in the beginning, but her I really warmed up to her character and enjoyed her growth throughout the book. This one ends on a cliffhanger (as expected) but I'm looking forward to see how the series continues.
