This was a sweet and spicy romance involving a single dad who reluctantly hires a hot new nanny.  I really enjoyed the writing style of this slow-burn romance.  Seeing Vanessa progress from new nanny to maternal figure and supporting partner was really well done. It all felt natural and earned.  I enjoyed watching Lino's character grow throughout the book as well.  He was cold and detached in the beginning and seeing Vanessa and his children bring out the best in him was really sweet. The end of the book felt a bit rushed, but overall I really enjoyed this standalone.

It's been a hot minute since I've read a reverse harem and this book reminded me just how much I miss them.  Good lord this was hot!!!  It was dark, spicy, suspenseful, emotional, and everything you want from this kind of book.  Rio, Zane, and Asher are a trio of morally grey men who are absolutely obsessed with and possessive of our FMC, Spencer.  She's on the run from a traumatic past and these boys want nothing more than to protect her and make her theirs.  I LOVED IT!!!  We're not going to talk about that cliffhanger at the end because how dare you IVY!?!?! But I am very much looking forward to the rest of this series.  The tension and slow burn were perfection in this and I can't wait to see more of the guys' backstory moving forward.  ETA: Wait, this is a debut?  Even better!  Congrats on a fantastic book Ivy!
