It was magical, romantic, lightly spicy - all the fun!!  I love how the author gave holidays a magical realm with royalty and a complete backstory on joy.  Very much excited for book 2!

I love following her on social media, and this book was just as good as I had hoped. Will everything work for my kids? Nope - and she is completely up front about that. Love her!

I didn't connect to the characters. Mallory is super whiney and her friends were MIA for a YEAR and now everything is OK? No thanks.

It was a cute Hallmark-esque Christmas novel. However... the sex scenes did feel a bit overdone for the feel of the story.  Every new book doesn't need full blown erotica scenes.
Also, the female narrator was good by herself, but when she did Gavins voice it was so cringey.
