Firstly, this book is absolutely beautiful! The illustrations are lush and detailed.

This book tells a traditional Australian Aboriginal story about the Yarra river, using lots of words from the Woiwurrung language throughout. It was fun to try to guess what all the animals were before looking at the translations in the glossary!

Okay, so this is the perfect book to start (or encourage) an obsession with elephants. They are amazing! And this book has on each page big text that provides a great story for littles, and then smaller text that provides more details for the curious or slightly less little ones.

This was one of those audiobooks that you find excuses to just keep listening. It was SO GOOD.

Okay, so first of all, the illustrations in this book are beautiful. The story is about reducing ocean pollution told in the style of "the old woman who swallowed a fly".

A brilliantly colored book about adapting to a new environment and finding the good in the new place

This was actually really cute! And there are recipes in the back for each of the dishes mentioned.

A very cute book that reminds us that no matter how tough or scary we look, or how we act, we all need love! ❤️

I think Louise Penny has truly hit her stride with these last few books in the series. Loved both mysteries in this novel!
