Okay, so I didn't realize before I started it that this book is about a flu-like pandemic, so here's your warning if you're avoiding pandemic books.
That being said, this book was amazing. The storytelling caught me from the first chapter, and I absolutely loved the multiple viewpoints and timelines that wove together all the different characters in the story. There were just enough answers to the questions "I wonder what happened to..." to leave you satisfied, and just enough of those answers left out to make the story feel real. I listened to this one on audio in two big chunks because I was just so caught up in the story.

I think this might be one of the weirdest things I've read in a long time and please, can I have some more??
I don't even have the words to describe what this is about. Just read it.

A good place to start if you're interested in reading more about effective communication. I think this could have been a long form essay though, parts of it were a bit repetitive.
A good, critical look at the personal finance industry to give data-based points to consider when interacting with personal finance professionals. Olen covers everything from the Latte Factor to personal finance marketing to women, to real estate investing, showing where potential pitfalls are, and where facts have been obfuscated in the name of marketing.
This was a pretty solid primer on investing, with lots of definitions and examples. Ideal for someone who is just starting out and isn't interested in digging through dry articles or highly technical material.
Stunning. I think this book might have broken me.
This was eclectic in its approach but so interesting! Mask touches on philosophical, legal, cultural, socioeconomic, and many more kinds of questions when it comes to addresses: why we have them, what it means to not have one, who determines what they are, how we name streets and therefore give people addresses, and the possible future of addressing
Okay, first of all, this book itself is a work of art as a physical object. Morgan's artwork on every page is STUNNING and makes you stop to appreciate it while you savor her words. Her poetry is the perfect encouragement for getting thru life's hard places, reminding us that through it all, we are blooming.
