marking this under spoiler as its a very personal/specific reason to not like this book and i really don’t want to affect others views when deciding whether or not to read it. but as an asexual/aromantic person, reading riley gush about how attractive/sexy each guy is just keeps weirding me out. language like that always gets to me a little (what i mean is characters just going on and on about how physically attractive another character is), but in this one it happens a particularly large amount and i just cant root for riley enough to be able to overlook how uncomfortable it makes me.
