idk how to sum up this whole book but a very respectful 4.5/5

in no universe was this going to be less than 5 stars

4.5/5: oh i loved this something about the end is keeping it from a full 5 stars unfortunately

4.5/5: "and you have to promise me. with your entire being. that no matter what, when, or where, that you will find me. and you will help me remember you." such a funny and touching and purely original novel

literally so fun

this was phenomenal and has my favorite trope of religious character realizes that god is in the people they love also i just realized the tagline is the end times are coming cj leede you are hilarious

2.5/5: I had really high hopes for this and I'm very disappointed that I didn't love it. Let's start out with the things I liked which is the story. I was intrigued by the plot and I thought a lot of the conversations were good and necessary. That is pretty much all I liked. I didn't care for the characters at all, the dialogue was very unrealistic, the romance was unnecessary, and while there were good conversations I wanted more from all of them. I understand that this is a young adult novel but young adults are capable of having more mature conversations than what was seen in this book.
