3.5/5: good but slow to get into & felt kinda forgettable

3.5/5:
- soooo 2004 (white cishet romance w fun little bits of racism, homophobia, fatphobia, and misogny)
- i loved it though i was so addicted to reading this i finished it in 2 days
- definitly did not need to be this long
- wish we got to see the main characters interact more (kinda hard bc this was entirely told in messages/letters/emails but still)
- i want to work in a hotel now i am so rosie ive been obsessed w hotels since i was a kid omg
- also didnt know this was set in ireland i want to go to ireland so bad now
- SO excited to watch the movie i heard it was a lot better than the book and i really liked the book

3.5/5
- i actually enjoyed this but there were a few let downs
- a lot of it was kinda boring and i just expected more from the pandemic-ey aspects
- the ending was a anti climactic
- the writing had the atmosphere the author wanted but i needed something a little more when it came to any reason or sense of remorse i should have for the victims of the pandemic

- i think sally and clarissa should kiss <3
- if it werent for doing a school project on this (six months ago)(hi ms. dolan i did it!!!) i would not have understood anything
- loved the writing thats pretty much what my rating is based off of
- idk why this was such a difficult book for me to just pick up and read but when i got myself to do it i loved it
- excited to read more from my stockpile of woolf novels
