this would've been a solid 4 if i felt like len and henry had a better foundation like i would've loved to see chapters interspersed from their childhood together to really solidify why we should care about these characters succeeding together because a lot of their time in this book is spent apart and i was struggling to really see why they needed each other despite being told so. overall very good and so many lines hit me in the gut

I FINALLY FINISHED!!!!!!!! i cannot possibly begin to imagine how this book was constructed but god it deserves all the praise I've seen it awarded over the last 5 years ive been in online book spaces. only not full 5 stars because of how long it took me and the fact that it took until past pg 300 for me to start loving this but I knew if I stuck it through it'd pay off

- i didn't really like the audiobook
- the writing wasn't anything special to me
- i think i hyped this up too much in my head
- interesting and i appreciate it for what it was though

really liked!! perfect for getting me out of a reading slump and im not going to shut up about the surprise aroace rep i thought that was done so well

liked it a lot more the second time around!! listening to it on audiobook helped my engagement and since the beginning of the year ive been experiencing chronic hand pain and though that's not comparable to fibromyalgia at all the discussions about pain i could really relate to
