Three strikes and I'm done (except its listened to the entire thing)
1. She had huge breasts but he didn't even notice them. He loved women who smiled even when they weren't smiling
2. "Im sorry, I shouldn't have corrected you." She's a scientist and explained gently why he was wrong.
3. She explained her boss was sexually harassing her and his response was "well, wanna help me with my problem? I found a weird rock."

Nope. Nina had potential what with being a scientist and the smartest person in town, but this man is a hard pass from me. I hope the aliens who abduct him feed him to that giant cat he killed's sister. 
(Update: he did not die and the robot is the best character)

no one is what  they seem, everyone has secres, i never knew what would come next and she did not get eaten by a crocodile.

Also, major cliffhanger but at least book two is out

Ah yes, a heartwarming, funny, uplifting rom-com..... except its 90% trauma, 5% dating and a 3rd act breakup, wrapped up with a neat little bow.
This book is INCREDIBLY sad. So many annotations on my Kindle version, and nearly all of them blue!

Amber sucks

Beautiful and terrible and haunting and sad and so incredibly wonderfully written. 

I kept expecting it to end and yet MORE KEPT HAPPENING and the plot actually resolved itself. 
The kinks are not mine but the story telling was great and the characters are delightfully written.
