While the characters are quirky and the dialog is fun I found myself bored about a third of the way in.
The story is cute and a little slower than I'd like. The ending is a cliffhanger/mystery so naturally I'm starting book two.

A mix of the Matrix and iRobot.
Very dark. Very abrupt ending.
