Marked down for plot hole/ending
A decent story, interesting idea and relatively well executed. 
Enjoyed the writing style.
The characters all varied widely so there's plenty of personality and only one cardboard cutout of a person.
I did immediately guess where the heart was, and the Gabriel twist wasn't very twisty.

although I was not expecting him to kill her mom. F that dude for real.
Luci's mysterious healing is pointed out, wondered about, then immediately dismissed and never brought up again. She also bops in & out as a possible secondary main character but nope, she's ignored again for chapters on end.
Ophelia needed to find a heart and a key but after giving him the locket and saying her heart was his, suddenly everything was sorted and he was free (no key?)
Also his wish was that everyone would forget his true name and yet she called him it immediately? So did I misunderstand that it would he wiped from everyone's memory??
Also also, the mysterious second house that they hella went into debt for...... mentioned once and never again. Hope they find it or something 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got so bored so quick. Maybe made it 40% before skimming the rest. 
Should have been a really cool story but instead we get mediocre white male who uses 90s slang and lies to the "fiery woman he loves" (aka the first person he saw and he decided he loved her after 5 seconds) for nearly the entire book.

The banter was cute at times but

how do you date someonefor six months, sleep with them, and not know their name, then get upset when they tell you who they are?

Actually incredibly sad.
