I know this book has a high rating but I was so bored at only 26% and while I think it has potential it felt like it was going nowhere slowly
I'd probably only continue the story for Marcellus because his character was quite funny & unique (iykyk😅)

Started the audiobook - the narrator was just not for me with the accent 
That paired with the writing of the book and the male perspective 
It sounds interesting but the descriptions just go on and on and the amount of lewd jokes targeted at women is not for me at all
Maybe it would be better as a read, not an audiobook but I don't think that's high on my TBR 😐

It was very much YA especially in the writing and characterization + world building - think of superheroes and villains fighting each other with the costumes and everything (something like marvel with a dystopian hint for children) 
Definitely not a bad book by any means, I just think it's not for me rn and nothing gripped my attention 50% of the way through the book 
I may pick it up again if I feel like I need to finish up a DNF :) 

Ehhh... Idk the plot wasn't intriguing me. Why are there so many characters 😭😭
And now its months later and I know I'm not going to finish it... Maybe I'll get back to it some day

Did not understand the political and magic system of the book - possibly not the right book to read during a reading slump as it takes alot of brain power. Did see potential for the romance subplot. Will probably get back to this

Juliettes character was annoying me from the 2nd book and the pacing was just all over.the place. Really wanted other characters pov since they so loveable... Maybe I'll come back to it
