As a cis straight white natural born person, I don't think it's my place to review a book like this but rather a time for me to just listen. I hope this helps people understand why "technically the government can't be racist" doesn't make the world safe or equal for everyone, that being Black/Indigenous/Asian/etc. do not all have the same upbringing, lives, and experiences. I also ask that if you play video games that you walk away being more conscious of who/what you support and what you say online.

*gasps* there had better be another book! I like Dorothy so much more in this book. She became an actual character and not just some lovesick puppy with a background in cons. The full cast was just far more interesting to follow and I loved the conflicts we run into with trying to change events with time travel.
So giant trigger warning: this is about stopping a pedophile ring. Think of it like holding Jeffree Epstein and Prince Andrew accountable for the filth that they are but a century or two ago.
also, Epstein did not kill himself
I really liked the main character. She refuses to let things go and is very evidence-based no matter what the evidence suggests to her. I will definitely keep following the series because I want to see the main chatacter's brother especially get his just desserts.

This was alright. The romance was cute but I feel like their romance was so centre to the plot that there's no big moment in the rest of the book with the whole "heir to a space empire while people try to kidnap them" premise.

This book is my trash. My detox from fantasies and historical fiction with tons of politics and war. Sometimes you just want some trashy romance drama.
