What a wonderful surprise read! I loved that the Mc didn't develop a romance with the investigator. That's so played out. Now I did guess who the two bad people ended up being but it was still a fun ride

This was an interesting concept but it really needs more structures and explanation. I don't know what is realistic and what is out of the realm of the magic capabilities here.
Do I regret reading it? Nope!

Such a good fantasy! I don't understand the GoodReads rating at all! I do think this is a YA though it is labeled as Adult so maybe that is why? Not sure but it's so good!
