Nope. Author is a bigot.

As someone who has consumed a lot of YA fantasies, I think this book follows a tried and true structure. It wasn't good or bad but it wasn't anything new. It was all just...okay.

I'm like angry crying right now! This woman put so much time and care into this investigation and never got to see the pile of human waste actually caught! Now I gotta spend the rest of my night falling down the Google rabbit hole and prep for the HBO docuseries and trial. So much research and collaboration! The sheer effort that had to go into this is unfathomable!
