Lots to like, lots to dislike. I liked the mood of this book and the way the author captured the feelings of the family. However, I found the characters and their actions very hard to believe, ultimately leading to a story which just didn't ring true.

4/4/17: This is fast becoming one of my favourite series of all time, and Diana Gabaldon one of my favourite authors. The depth to these stories is just incredible. The location, the characters, the complexities of Claire's situation...they're all so well thought and so well written. They are an absolute joy to read.
