This was fantastic. Although it could be a little slow at times, I found it thoroughly believable and I loved all the characters. The plot was a lot more intricate than I expected, and the twists surprised me every single time.

I really like the way vampyres are set up and portrayed in this series. I wish there was a bit more depth to the characters though - currently, my favourite character is Aphrodite as she is (in my opinion) the most developed character. I find the rest of the characters to be a bit boring and poorly written. I still like the books enough to continue on with the series.

Reading this was the start of me (attempting) to read the entirety of Agatha Christie's books. I liked this one, although I found the pacing a little hard to follow and the conclusion to be a little drawn out.

I didn't love this, but apparently it's not the best one to start Discworld with. I just went the first book and will still continue the series (may switch to another of the Discworld series though).

I loved the concept of this series. I really liked the way the souls shared a body and the way Zhang wrote this element to the story.

It had some flaws; Eva/Addie seemed kind of unbelievable to me and Marion was a weird character I couldn't figure out.
I was waiting for some kind of dramatic reveal about Marion's true intentions, but it never happened.

But I was addicted to this book, and the audiobook was really well done. It was great and a good ending to this trilogy.

This book has been sitting at the bottom of my TBR for years and I am so glad I finally got around to it! The concept was very compelling and interesting to me. It was very close to a five star book for me; I wish it had had more world building and a greater description of the history and government in this world.
