Clumsy and obvious writing, really not for me 

For this kind of book to grab me it needs to have really beautiful, dreamy writing, and it doesn't have that in my opinion. I am about halfway through and finding I'm completely losing track of what's going on

Just didn't grab me, felt very disjointed 

Almost got all the way through this but it was due at the library and was automatically returned. I wasn't really enjoying it so decided just to accept my fate on this one. Although the premise of the story was interesting, in practice I actually found the reading experience to be quite boring. 

The story was interesting but i found the prose really boring 

Wrong time for this book - not a theme I really want to read at this stage, although the writing certainly is beautiful.

This was just dragging on and on. The writing was quite nice but it seemed to just be circling and circling around her family and the past and present. It touches on the brethrens for a bit but then goes back out to other things in her family, and it just feels like it's going to take forever to get anywhere. 

This book was pretty disjointed and just didn't grab me at all - started it a couple of times to no avail.
