I feel in the minority because I didn't love this. It felt slow to start, and I found the structure almost exhausting. I read it on Hoopla, and there weren't any chapters, just one long story that wandered all over the place. I saw one review use the word 'sprawling' and that's fitting. My favorite parts were when Daniel interjected, but those were few and far between. I think I would have enjoyed this more if I knew what I was getting into.

I was excited to start this, but I just couldn't really get into it. The premise is fun and unique, and I loved the witty humor. However, it didn't hold my interest. Maybe I'm not in the right mood? I made it about halfway, I think, and then other books caught my attention and I never returned to this book.
