This is a really good book, but it got more and more depressing. I feel like "hope" shouldn't be in the title. I stalled toward the end and then forced myself to finish it. Spoiler alert: There's not a happy ending.

This was a great book. The descriptions and history were wonderful. I would definitely recommend it!

I really liked this book. I enjoyed her travels and the people she met along the way. I was a little worried it would be whiny after I heard it compared to Eat, Pray, Love but it wasn't whiny at all. It inspired me to get out and do more hiking next summer!

Initially I liked this book, but I began to lose interest around the time they graduated. Maybe I lost interest because the characters also lost interest in anything but getting drunk. There are too many other books to read to waste more time on this one. It wasn't for me.
