First of all, this book really makes me want to go visit Nova Scotia and to Sable Island to see the wild horses. Both places just sound so beautiful.

Emma was such a beautiful character. I loved that she always knew who she wanted to be and even though it took her many more years to get there than she might have liked, it was awesome to see that she finally did make it.

She had a lot that she went through. I felt sorry for her time with Logan and what he turned out to be. Her relationship with Captain Harris was magnetic and special and while I almost ranted and raved because of what happened.... I'm glad for the ending of their story.

Best friend's sister to lovers with a fun magic twist has The Serendipity bringing another couple together with its magic.

Scarlett had always wanted to live in The Serendipity and even though she lives in the basement in the old maintenance apartment, she's happy. Now to get her other wish, to find true love. If only Wade, her brother's  best friend, would stop ruining her dates for her.

Wade is reluctant to "look out for" Scarlett when his friend Phoenix asks him to (as he's gone for 6 months). But as he does find her attractive, he feels he can maybe torture enough dates that she might start to feel about him the way he does for her.

I love Phoenix and Wade's friendship and how Phoenix looks at his best friend as someone who is good for Scarlett. I like the firehouse guys that Wade works with and all their advice (and maybe one making sure Wade gets jealous 😉) where Scarlett is concerned. I love the Gloria scenes, she's a funny old lady! I even loved the little sprinkles of story with the mop 😍

This book definitely has some great moments and some very shocking moments.

Cate- trying to forge a relationship with her dad and learning the dealings of this kingdom. She tries to grow her powers to help fight against the Embers. I think she will be a great leader one day.

Lucas- becoming one of The Captured of the Embers. I loved to see the lead up to his capture to see how smart he is. The things he sees and learns about (one huge, horrible thing the Embers are doing that I hope we get to explore in book 3) are pivotal to his escape around with an unlikely ally in Princess Mya.

Daniel- I did like to see him struggle a bit in this. I think it will really help him grow tremendously. He will really need a backbone to deal with his father coming up I think.

The ending was very surprising but it was a great cliffhanger! (Maybe I'm a weird one that just LOVES a great cliffhanger)

I felt this was a very slow moving book but I did enjoy the character of Sam. I love how much of a klutz he is 🤣 and the way Phoebe just got exasperated with him at times. I felt bad for the things Phoebe (and her family) had to go through. (There are trigger warnings before the book starts so you know what you might encounter).

I didn't enjoy the times science came into play throughout here. I didn't think it made the story flow all that well. With Phoebe being (or trying to be) a scientist or made sense to bring some of it in but it just made those parts drag.

Olivia and Logan seemed to always be in competition in high school work Logan always taking the top spot. Now he has come to work where she has for the last 6 years and first off, he gets the apartment she wants in the Serendipity.

I loved this enemies to lovers book! Logan is just misunderstood and he's actually a really sweet, good guy. The antics these 2 got up to and got up to make for a funny, laugh out loud time. The fortune cookies that come from everywhere with their sage advice made me giggle. I loved Rhett, Logan's Boston terrier. He's a smartie and l just love a dog that brings people together (is Rhett part of the magic too?!).

I really loved that we got a small scene with the flower from Jenny's book... That was exciting!!

This was a perfect blend of a past road trip and current road trip of 4 (plus a half 😉) sorority sisters. The past one inspired the completion of the current and there are buried secrets and cover ups that will come to light.

I enjoyed reading (even among the struggles) the POV of each woman. They are very well fleshed out characters that I came to care for. There were laughs and tears. There were even surprises once the big buried secret was revealed that made my jaw drop. I hope that you will join this adventure and really come to love this found family and the bond they have that makes them cling to each other in support in times of need.

So exciting to get books for more (started with Max in The Tenacious Act) of the NY Raptors!

This has a fun friend to lovers with Marissa (who is the Coach's daughter) and her best friend hockey player Aaron. I love these two in their friendship relationship, they just get each other. I also really love the relationship between Coach and Aaron, the former being such a great role model for Aaron to have grown up around.

I loved when they confessed to the feelings that they tried so hard to hide because it was just straight forward, no hesitation finally.
The "birthday" scene was amazing and I want one exactly like it 😍 and to always be a surprise when they celebrate Marissa was fun.

This was a great murder mystery with a solid cast of characters that are so real and raw and I felt every emotion with them.

Aria is a great woman working for the homeless and accidentally stumbles upon the person who just killed a volunteer for her organization, Emerson. Then she and her loved ones are constantly threatened. She decides she needs to figure out why Emerson was a target and quick...With a great friend (love interest too) Jax and police officer Errol by her side.

Aria stressed me out (in a good way!) but she was so tenacious that I couldn't help but cheer her on. I liked to see the past of Emerson throughout the read and the struggles he went through during service in Nam and the demons of drug/alcohol abuse as a result because it really helped me feel sympathy for him.

Get ready for ocean and boat puns galore in this high sea adventure of two people falling for each other on a luxury yacht they work on.

Lucia "Lucky" has dreams of opening a bakery in honor of her grandparents so she works on a high class yacht to save up for that dream. Along comes Hunter, the new guy on the crew, who immediately helps Lucky through a panic attack. He's so sweet and handsome...too bad there is a new rule to not franternize with any crew member. But when the only place he can bunk is her room, things will get interesting!

I love the nights Hunter and Lucky spend together. It's always sweet. I love that they watch old movie musicals together and fall asleep in each other's arms. This is a closed door with only kissing but the tension of breaking the before mentioned rule is delicious!

This was a beautiful story about family and forgiveness. When a tragedy occurs in Mallory's job, she takes leave and goes home. Her and her mother, Helen, have a rocky past filled with secrets and they don't really get along. When she gets there, she runs into an old love that she almost married, Aiden. They are both broken in ways and it's awkward to be around each other.

I loved every part of this. The past we get to see from Helen, her journal and the mystery person she's writing to. The journey of healing Aidan and his mother go through. All is just beautiful.
