I can't believe how many men wanted to take advantage of Loiuse one way or another throughout the book. Mr. Walsh infuriated me most of all. I loved the way Mr. Bolivar became a father type figure for her. he certainly treated her better than her own father. I really liked Edward!
Thanks for the chance to read this Ms. Dubois!

Beautiful ending to this story. The beginning I thought a bit slow, but the last half of the book really picked up the pace and was so exciting!
I wanted to kick the main character so many times through this book. I wouldn't normally have read this all the way through, I would have probably DNF'd it before the half way point, but I saw it through anyway. Wouldn't recommend it
The main character talks to the "House" as if it is an actual person. She was certainly deranged. She does a couple of totally deplorable things! It was kind of boring to me.
This was a great, cute story. I loved how big Lily's heart is to take in several troubled children and adopt them. Frederick fit right into the family. I loved how it all came together in the end. *I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for my review *
From the title you know it's about the Mayflower. How hard and tragic that crossing was! I really enjoyed how William and Mary's relationship developed in sore of such loss for her. I loved her brother. Such a young boy going through grown up aches.
*Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read the ARC*

I am so horrible with poem reading so it's taken me a long time to read this. Thanks for the chance. I probably wouldn't read another story written this way
I loved everything about this book! I never saw that ending coming and now have to hold my breath for 10 whole months for the next book.... can't wait
I loved every minute of this book! I don't know the Hades/Persephone story itself, but enjoys this book. Cora and Adam are both delightful. Their journey was rough (literally, in many ways) but once again, love conquers all!
