I love stories that go back and forth in time. This book flowed along great with each chapter alternating between past and present. The last couple of chapters made me tear up a bit.
This was a fun book. Dystopian books aren't my favorite, but I enjoyed it with the fairy tale twist. I had a feeling with Cinder (won't spoil but if you read the book you probably know what I'm talking about) from pretty close to the beginning and I was happy to be right! I can't wait to see her in the second book and to get to know Scarlet.
I loved hearing how the story ended. Winter was an interesting personality. I personally thought 823 pages was way too long and it could have been shortened.
I loved getting to read the conclusion to this series. I think this is probably my least favorite of the 3, but it was still good!
I wish the publisher hadn't decided to only publish this as an ebook. I probably would have bought the series in hardcovers if they had done all 3 that way. Oh well.

I love that most of this read like a season of Downton Abbey! (I miss that show!)
It was interesting to learn about the unrest in Ireland around WW1.

This might be my favorite book of the series (yet). I loved Captain Thorne in this more than the last. I can see why he's so "dreamy" 🙂 Cress is probably my favorite of the girls too. Can't wait to see everyone and what they do in the last book .
