So adorable! Zane is the twin brother of Zoey and her friend Abby shouldn't fall for him, right?
Zane is starting up an app and it's having IT issues. Zoey suggests Abby to help fix the bugs because she's a tech whiz. When she suddenly gets roped into an investor's weekend, she has to tamper down her crush.
Oh the weekend is fun but after they have a lot to deal with.
I love the ending..... It's such a great "get the girl back grand gesture" and so funny!

This book had me laughing right away (mostly at the obsurdity of Kiki's sister). I just knew I was going to really like this book.
Kiki needs a job. Her sister wants her for her personal nanny which sounds like absolute hell! She is offered through her brother- a chance to work as a personal assistant to Tatum, a country star on his tour.
She has to deal with a cold shouldered boss Jess but also works with the makeup artist, Sarah, who become friends.
She also had to try and not lose her heart to Tatum.
This was really cute, made me laugh, and Tatum just seemed so sexy!

I just adored this book! It's steamy, sweet, painful, and joyful!
Evie rents out a flat above a bookstore that she will run while she figures out what to do with her life and the direction she wants to take it.
Enter Roane, the handsome English farmer, whose dog Shadow is saved by Evie from being hit by a car.
The place she goes is a tiny village where everyone knows your business and there's even a legendary feud among two families. Of course, when Evie and Roane become friends and eventually, the town is all over it!
I love how quickly Evie helps out some people in the village from some very bad situations. Especially Caro, I loved (and a bit hated, for good reason) her storyline.
There is a major twist at the end with a character that I didn't see coming which I loved!

A lovely journey of trying to correct past mistakes and the romance that follows. Ben and Fallon may have a weird relationship but I liked it. I liked the premise of meeting each other on the same day even before I really found what that day meant for both of them. I felt sorry for both of them especially after certain reveals.
3.5
Diana and Jeremy. They love to spar with words like they can't stand each other. They make a wager when Jeremy is told of his lackluster skills in the bedroom. But can they compete this wager and not fall for each other? They will be tested as they spend a country party together at Jeremy's estate.
I enjoyed the story and had fun with it but it wasn't at good as the first one to me. I read think Diana was not as fun a heroine as Violet was. I did laugh a few times out loud at this, but again not as much as the first.

This was a pretty cute story, but I wish it would have ended up a bit different than it did. It could have still ended up a cute romance if it went a slightly different direction.
Willow is a figure skater that gets an injury and kicked off her team in Colorado. She goes back home to recover before she can get back to it. She watches a pick up game of hockey and stops a wild shot into the stands. This leads Brodie, the captain of the team, to ask her to step into a goalie position.
So she starts playing with a team of guys. She is not welcome by a few at all but mostly the guys are ok with her.
Brodie has a tough home life- lost his mom, his dad is a drunk and hardly home, and he's left to take care of his 8 year old asthmatic brother. He helps Willow train in hockey.
I felt bad for Brodie and his brother. It's hard to read of a parents death and the other one basically falls apart and neglects the kids. It's sad, but he did have a best friend and his family to stick up for and with him.
The little romance between Willow and Brodie was believable not as I said before... Wish it had turned out slightly different.

I love true crime but in all honesty would rather watch something about it than read it. (At least with non-fiction) This, though, I still felt was a well done book. It follows the killings of gay men in the 80-90s, but it gives an in depth look at the ones who lost their lives.
Sadly these cases aren't well known or talked about because of the sexuality of the victims (which shouldn't matter) and the AIDS epidemic that was so rampant around that time.
I really liked that I got glimpses into the lives of the men that sadly lost their lives. I feel like we tend to mostly focus on the killer and their life and I'm glad I got to read more than just that.

Chloe is sassy and I liked it! I'm very happy with the representation of her having chronic pain and it being talked about. Red is just the sweetest and most understanding. He took such care with Chloe- he quickly knew how to help her when she was in so much pain. I can see why he was weary of Chloe at first once you get his backstory that he doesn't talk about.
The sisters were my favorite part! I read Dani's book first and will read Eve's next and I just love them.

I love these characters and their stories but was a bit disappointed in the ending. Not that I still didn't love it, but it just wrapped up in a way with still a bit more questions that could be answered in another book. I'm not sure that there are plans for that as I'm sure it was just a trilogy.
Rhen and Grey are opposites at war. I was sad at the way they are on different sides instead of being by each other's sides like they were during the Curse.
I still like Grey the most. I had a hard time feeling sorry for Rhen or Harper this time around and that really sucks.

This was muy calienté!
Jasmine just went through a very public breakup and Ashton's latest telenovela character has been killed off. They are put together for a new show Carmen in Charge, a LatinaX streaming TV show.
Ashton is standoffish and for good reason. He has a secret he's kept for a long time and is that's how he's seen, he feels with it. Jasmine tries to be friendly and starts to pull him out of his shell.... And they start falling for each other.
I get why he doesn't tell Jasmine his secret and it's crappy how she finds out. All due to paparazzi. But I think he probably should have told her. It caused a lot of heartache.
I loved Jasmine's big family! Especially her two cousins, Michelle and Ava.
The chemistry is hot on and off screen.
