As someone who has never read The Three Musketeers, I had never heard of Milady de Winter. But when I saw the blurb and that she was a nemesis of them (the Musketeers show up throughout) in the Dumas novel, I had to read it!
This is her origin story. A simple country girl forced into a Covent by her father and misused by all sorts of men, she learns how to deceive and become a spy.
I really liked this book. It was interesting to see how good she was at what she did. She also did some really awful things though and didn't seem to feel to much remorse for some of it. I really liked her friendship with Connie.

What an interesting take on Beauty and The Beast! It was neat bringing it into today's world.
I loved Harper! She is such a strong character that doesn't let her CP get in her way. Grey is such an amazing guy I love that he not only does what he's supposed to do because it would be treasond not to, but that he does it out of the goodness of his heart. Prince Rhen, poor guy having to go so long with this curse! The ending has me so excited for the next book! Hope to find it more about Grey in it. Though Rhen is the main character and the guy you should root for, I was much more fascinated with Grey.

A group of 6 young adults are recruited to represent the brand Lyndon Wyld as "Seasonaries" in Nantucket. They are paid a lump sum for the summer. All they are asked is to represent the brand on social media daily. Sounds like the perfect dream right? What could go wrong?
I really liked Mia. She has a good reason to be a Seasonaire. She wasn't ready for what all that happened, but I appreciated that she didn't change too much. Cole was a sweetheart but holds a big secret. Presley knew how to work people but I think she did it without any fear of consequences. Can't wait to read where the next book takes us!

I loved this book! But it does deal with very hard subject matters, especially in the first chapters.
Such amazing characters- I loved Zane. He grew into a fine young man after all he and his sister Britt went through. Emily was an amazing Aunt at the very time she needed to be. Lee is a good cop and he took my heart in believing in Zane and Britt. I really loved Darcy. She was my favorite character. She is very strong willed, opinionated, fierce, likeable, great work and business ethic....etc. She was such a good woman who also goes through a lot in this book.
Nora Roberts continues to amaze me with her books!

This was seriously a cute and fun book! Nina is such a likeable character. She's a bookworm and does trivia nights. She's funny and can crack out a comeback without fully listening to the convo. She gains a family she never knew she had and imagines what get cat might be saying. Then Tom.... So adorable and totally not a perfect fit for Nina but it works!
There was never a dull moment in this book and I read it fast!

Slow moving story but with the feel and heart of Downton Abbey. Dual timelines in the 20s and the 60s in Bethlehem, PA. I really liked the characters, although it takes a bit to get used to them because them are called by their names and nicknames.
Susannah's secret that she hid for so many years with the help of her Mom was so heartbreaking. I really liked Doe- she seemed a little crazy talking about the ghosts that seemed to haunt the house, but there is truth to that as the story unfolds.

Nell, an FBI agent, comes home to deal with her father's recent death. She gets herself pulled into (not in an official capacity) a murder investigation. Nell quickly finds out that her father was involved but doesn't know quite how. I admit I had the same feelings as her but I really hoped that her father wasn't a murderer. I can't believe the unfolding of the corruption in this novel.
I admire Nell's dedication to her work and she's tough as nails!

Very cute story told in text messages, emails and journal entries!
This story will have you laughing out loud at the funny situations and family dramas. My fav part has to be Crystal's dinosaur story!

I was actually a little terrified of this novel at first. I have a cousin and a sister in law with Down Syndrome and I thought this would be so hard to read . But the author didn't spend too much time on the school and the horror that awaited there. We do get a bit of insight into the cruelty that happens in that "school" throughout the book. What we don't get a lot of - and I was hoping for- was about Lucy. This book seemed to focus more on Ginny and all she goes through and that was disappointing.
Wow, though this had the MOST unlikeable characters......I was intruigued by it and compelled to finish it in less than a day! Everyone (the exception- Lucy) who the main character, Sara, interacts with at Stanhope is manipulative, highly unlikeable, and money grubbing narcissists! They do terrible things, no matter who they hurt, all in the pursuit of that lucrative bonus and highest pay. I loved the back and forth from the elevator to past scenes as we get to know Sara. Definitely one you might need to pick up soon!
