Louise may have seemed perfect but she was definitely not. What she was, was neurotic and petty. The first chapter is pretty hard to read and the rest of the book shows us what Louise's life had been and is like..... and even though it's horribly hideous, kind of shows why she did what she did.
From the title you know it's about the Mayflower. How hard and tragic that crossing was! I really enjoyed how William and Mary's relationship developed in sore of such loss for her. I loved her brother. Such a young boy going through grown up aches.

I am so horrible with poem reading so it's taken me a long time to read this. Thanks for the chance. I probably wouldn't read another story written this way
I loved every minute of this book! I don't know the Hades/Persephone story itself, but enjoys this book. Cora and Adam are both delightful. Their journey was rough (literally, in many ways) but once again, love conquers all!
the hardest part of this book for me was "how hard would that be to forget your kids?"
I also wanted to punch most people for not revealing to Alice why she and Nick had separated

A love and promise that expands across a childhood, without being in the same country. I loved Collin. He was a very stoic man at first.... I wanted to kick him throughout the book when he would get close and loving to Katie and then change back to a stoic man. I'm glad they are sstarting to find their way in their love for each other and their marriage to each other.... and I can't wait to read the next book!
I burned through this book! (haha see what I did there 😉) This was a gripping, fast paced book that keeps turning out not like you expect it to. I highly recommend it
What fun little novellas! This was my first time reading a book by Donna Hatch. So my absolute favorite was A Perfect Match and was pleased that I can see their story continue in a full length novel, which I promptly put on hold through my library. I flew through these stories.
